Transparency transparency transparency. 8 % unemployment max. bipartisan work no closed doors CSPAN in the White House. Gitmo 1year, 16 months, ???? no more deficit spending Honesty 1 YEAR LATER None of the above is done; nor are there truly any plans to do. Obama is the Jimmy Carter of this generation; a lot of talk no action. 2 years ago he couldn't win a debate, yet now he speeks pretty well. He was setup with those to help him debate better, and it works. He doesn't write his speeche, he reads the teleprompter or he sounds like a total idiot at a loss for words. He was picked by the puppetmasters to draw the black vote, women vote, youth vote, and it worked. OOPS! Now what careful what you wish for. Secondly, the house, and senate could have passed anything they wanted since 2006; so blame Lady GAGGAG Pelosi, and Harry ree.s. They can now so what is the holdup democraps?

It is a shame that we are so polarized that we can not work together.

All our Senators and Congressmen run as if they will go to Washington and rep us but then they go to training and learn they must toe the leadership or their party line or will not get choice committees so they vote with the party leadership and not what the people want

Misfits and uneducated!!!!! You have just described the people the democrats cultivate. That is who keeps them in power...the people who don't understand economics and who can't get the concept of who actually gives them their jobs....unless they work for the government or don't work at all.
For the last 40 years our institutes of higher learning have been the domain of left leaning professors who basically indoctrinate the students. I'm sure a lot of the SDSers of my generation are enjoying cushy jobs in the same institutions they tried to tear down in the 70s. Most of the youth vote was a "feel good" vote. They had no concept of the issues.
I have never seen any politician try to foment class warfare as this president has. It's pathetic and transparent (the only thing about his administration that is transparent).
Rhetoric without fact or substance is not limited to whomever you disagree with at the time. It is spewed from either side equally. In fact very few politicians, or journalists for that matter, know enough about anything to put forth their opinions as fact.
Read some history books and then form your opinions based on your own knowledge because it seems as if you are being led as well.

I also want to add that if Republicans want to continue the same politics they have by not working with Democrats, I believe this strategy will backfire and Americans will vote them out at the end of the year. If we need one party to represent the people and change our country for the better then more Americans than ever will be willing to vote Republicans out. All the facts are there. Find them. Read them. Watch how they act and behave and then come up with your conclusion.

All the nay sayers should put themselves in the shoes of the President. If you think you know best how the US should be ran, then why aren't you president? It does not matter what President Obama say or do some people are just haters, they are to busy looking at race, and that is all they see. Why can't we all just get alone. As an independent I respect your right to share your opinion. Like most GOP fanatics you spew out a bunch of rhetoric without fact or substance. It's ok to be a republican, and it's ok to think that Bush was a good president and that Sara Palin will save the world. It is the same thing as believing the Earth is flat.
The GOP attracts the misfits and the uneducated, they listen to corporate America, Rush and the likes of Glenn Beck for information. They are keeping individuals like yourself and other idiots in the dark while they rake in the money. It is this reason Obama won the White House, he carried the young and the educated who could think for themselves. Not morons who live like mushrooms and have a need to be lead.
